Information for Chairpersons and Presenters

For Chairpersons

  1. Please access Zoom Meeting from the specified URL at least 45 minutes before the session starts. You will be asked to test Zoom's camcorder, microphone and speakers before the session begins.
    • The URL of Zoom will be announced about one week before the session.
    • Please access from a place where communication is stable as much as possible. Wired LAN is recommended.
  2. After the test, please move to the Zoom Webinar at least 10 minutes before the session starts. The operator will change the authority from "Viewer" to "Panelist", so please press "Raise your hand" after moving to the webinar.
  3. Start your session when it's time to start. The progress is left to the chair, but please adhere to the end time.
    • There is no timer on Zoom, so please bring your own.
  4. Questions from participants will be accepted from Zoom's Q & A, so please check before responding.

For Presenters

<Flow of the day>

  1. Please access Zoom Meeting from the specified URL at least 45 minutes before the session starts. You will be asked to test Zoom's camcorder, microphone and speakers before the session begins.

    • Please access from a place where communication is stable as much as possible. Wired LAN is recommended.
  2. After the test, please move to the Zoom Webinar at least 10 minutes before the session starts. The operator will change the authority from "Viewer" to "Panelist", so please press "Raise your hand" after moving to the webinar.
  3. When it is time to give a lecture, please follow the progress of the chair and project the presentation slides from Zoom's screen sharing to start the lecture.
  4. There is no limit to the number of slides, but please be careful to finish in time.
    • Please give a general presentation within 8 minutes of presentation and 4 minutes of Q & A (12 minutes in total).
    • For other sessions, please give a lecture within the time shown in advance.
    • There is no timer on Zoom, so please bring your own.
  5. Questions from participants will be accepted from Zoom's Q & A. Please answer according to the instructions of the chairperson.

<About creating presentation slides>

  • Please create presentation slides in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010/2013/2016/2019. We recommend a slide size of 16 : 9 (4 : 3 is also acceptable).
  • The language used for slides should be English, except for pre-approved sessions.
  • Please disclose the status of conflicts of interest after the title slide based on the detailed rules regarding conflicts of interest (COI) of the Japanese Society of Pharmacokinetics. Please refer to the annual meeting website for the targets and standards to be disclosed and the format of the slides for disclosure.

<About the Best Oral Award>

  • The Best Oral Award will be selected by the Best Oral Award Selection Committee for the abstracts entered in the Best Oral Award for general presentations.
  • Winners will be announced on the TOP page of the annual meeting website by the morning of November 19th (Fri.).
  • The award ceremony will be held at Venue A from 15:45 on November 19th (Fri.) for the winners of the Best Oral Award, so please attend.

For Poster Presenters

<Presentation method>

The e-poster will be posted on the "Annual Meeting Viewing Site" during the session so that participants can freely browse it. Also, make a presentation using Zoom's Breakout Room.

<How to create an e-poster>

  1. Please create an e-poster using a PowerPoint slide (16 : 9 recommended) as follows, and submit it converted to PDF.
    • On the first page of the slide, please enter the presentation number, title, name, affiliation.
    • On the second page of the slide, please disclose the status of conflicts of interest based on the detailed rules regarding conflicts of interest (COI) of the Japanese Society of Pharmacokinetics. Please refer to the annual meeting website for the targets and standards to be disclosed and the format of the slides for disclosure.
    • Please describe the content of the announcement on the third and subsequent pages. There is no limit to the number of slides.
    • Please use English as the language when creating the e-poster.
  2. Please attach the file to the email address of the Registration Secretariat below and send it by Friday, October 29th.
    • The file name should be [Presentation number_Name_Affiliation].

<About the Poster Presentation>

  1. Please access Zoom from the specified URL at least 20 minutes before the session starts.
    • The URL of Zoom will be announced about one week before the session.
    • Please access from a place where communication is stable as much as possible. Wired LAN is recommended.
  2. After accessing Zoom, follow the operator's instructions to move to your own Breakout Room.
  3. Once the participants enter the breakout room, please do the Q & A on your own initiative. There is no progress of the chair.
    • In the breakout room, it is possible to project the e-poster from Zoom's screen sharing. Oral questions and answers are also possible.
  4. The presentation time is 60 minutes. Please be careful to finish in time.
    • There is no timer on Zoom, so please bring your own.

<About the Best Poster Award>

  1. The Best Poster Award Selection Committee conducted the first screening of the abstracts entered in the Best Poster Award and selected the final selection subjects (Finalist).
    • Final selection subject (Finalist): BP-1 to BP-19
  2. The selection committee will interview the finalists from 17:30 on November 17, and elect the top5 subjects for the best poster prizes. General participants cannot watch the interview.
    • The URL of Zoom will be announced about one week before the session.
    • Please access from a place where communication is stable as much as possible. Wired LAN is recommended.
  3. Winners will be announced on the TOP page of the annual meeting website by the morning of November 19th (Fri.).
  4. The award ceremony will be held at Venue A from 15:45 on November 19th (Fri.) for the winners of the Best Poster Award, so please attend.
